As you enter Kingswood Home you are immediately struck by the attractive appearance of the house and well appointed gardens.

Hospitality at Heart

Combine this with the warm welcome extended to Service Users and visitors alike, along with a true family atmosphere then you have all the ingredients to make a happy and peaceful home from home. Kingswood House was built in 1905 and offers mainly furnished single en-suite facilities on two floors. The main house has retained all of its charm and original character.

Our philosophy of care

We place the rights of resident’s at the forefront of our philosophy of care. We seek to advance these rights in all respects of the environment and the services we provide and to encourage our residents to exercise their rights in full.

We will treat the residents with dignity and respect. Their family and friends will always be made welcome, encouraged to visit, stay for a meal and spend time together. Staff are sympathetic to, and able to recognise, understand and cater for residents’ individual needs. Discrimination of any kind will not take place on our grounds.

I’m very happy living here at Kingswood Care Home. The staff treat me with dignity and are always kind and respectful. The home is clean and well looked after, and I feel safe and comfortable in my room. I can speak openly with staff whenever I need to, and they always listen. I sometimes have to wait a bit longer for help, especially in the mornings or at night, but the care I receive is very good overall. Kingswood feels like a warm and supportive place, and I’m grateful for the team who look after me.

Kingswood Care Home has been a wonderful place for me. The staff are always friendly and make me feel at home from the moment I wake up.
